Does permanent jewelry hurt?
No. The welding spark never touches your skin. A protective layer is placed between you and the jewelry while the tiny jump ring is closed.
What if I need to remove it?
You can safely snip the small welded jump ring with nail clippers or scissors. Keep the chain and ask about having it re-welded later.
Can children get permanent jewelry?
Welding is available for ages 13 and older. For anyone younger than 13, Willow Vale can add a traditional clasp instead.
What happens if my jewelry breaks?
Willow Vale offers one complimentary re-weld within 14 days when the chain is still in wearable condition. Stretching, loss, or damage to the chain may require replacement.
Can everyone wear permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry may not be appropriate for someone with a pacemaker or a sensitivity to flashing light. If you have a medical concern, check with your healthcare provider first.
