Permanent jewelry involves welding a clasp-free chain designed for long-term wear. By choosing to receive this service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- The welding process involves brief exposure to heat near the skin. Protective measures are used, but minor risks such as warmth, discomfort, or skin irritation may occur.
- Permanent jewelry is not indestructible. Chains may stretch, break, or detach due to normal wear, snagging, impact, or accidental force (including breakaway incidents).
- Permanent jewelry may snag or catch during wear, which may cause injury. By proceeding, I accept all risks associated with wear and release the artist and studio from liability related to breakaway incidents.
- Permanent jewelry should be removed prior to medical procedures, imaging (such as MRI), or activities where metal may pose a safety risk. Removal may require cutting the chain.
- Clients who are pregnant, have a pacemaker or implanted medical device, heart condition, seizure disorder, metal allergy, or any medical condition that may be affected by electrical devices should consult their physician prior to receiving permanent jewelry services.
- Once the service is completed, the studio and artist are not responsible for loss, damage, breakage, stretching, or injuries related to wear or misuse of the jewelry.
- Re-weld policies apply as posted. Complimentary re-welds are offered within 14 days of service. Re-welds after that period are subject to a service fee.
By signing below, you confirm that you understand the nature of permanent jewelry, accept all associated risks, and release the artist and studio from liability related to this service.
